This taonga (treasure) by Moreton Jewellery is finely carved from Pounamu sourced by the Ngai Tahu people from the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. The Maori people believe that a Pounamu taonga increases in mana (prestige) as they pass from one person to another and from generation to generation. 

Approximate measurements - 10 x 2.5 cm. Adjustable cord to suit what length you prefer.
