Large Toki Pendant - Greenstone Pounamu
The Toki design originates from the axe head which was used to chip, carve and hollow out wood & sometimes used as a weapon.
Representing strength, determination and courage in times of adversity. To wear a Toki is a great honour and was traditionally worn by Maori elders.

Rimu emerged as a gold mining settlement in the late 19th Century and is now the source of some of the most beautiful Pounamu we see today.
