Greenstone - Pounamu - Toki Pendant Large (wide)

The Toki design originates from an axe head which was used by Maori to chip, carve and hollow out wood & sometimes as a weapon.

Representing strength, determination and courage in times of adversity; to wear a Toki is a great honour and was traditionally worn by Maori elders.

New Zealand Greenstone sourced from the Arahura River, West Coast of the South Island. Each piece is unique and individual, no two pieces are the same. Beautifully hand carved in Greymouth, South Island, New Zealand.

Approximate measurements - 3.5cm wide at the bottom x 8.5cm in length.

Adjustable cord to suit what length you prefer. The Toki is presented in a flax kete.

Made from NZ Greenstone and carved in Aotearoa New Zealand.
